business casual

Business casual can be a tough look to master. You aren't confined to a stuffy corporate look but you probably shouldn't wear jeans or sneakers. It can be hard to find the line in between casual and business while still having your personality shine in your wardrobe.
This is a really basic look that shouldn't scare anyone. Basic pieces every professional women should have in their wardrobe, you can easily rotate in any blouse and fun pair of shoes to make this basic look not so boring. Definitely an easy look to master.

This is a sliiightly more daring look. I.e no black! Its still really basic and neutral. Easy to rotate any of these pieces into multiple looks. Luckily in business casual offices you have more freedom in your wardrobe. I added a funky necklace that is subtle enough to keep this outfit looking timeless and not too trendy. I have a general rule to add one "fun" item to each outfit so you can never over do it whether its a bright colored shoe, a funky statement necklace or a bold patterned blouse. One piece at a time seems to be the perfect balance.

Another way I like to do business casual is to simply mix business and casual pieces together. In this outfit I did a slouchy t with a skirt and bold jacket. You can easily remove the blazer after work for a much more casual look.

Business casual doesn't have to be hard, as long as you have some basic pieces to mix and match you can wear just about anything with them.
